5 Must See Military Museums In PA

Although Veterans Day would be ideal for a visit to one of Pennsylvania's military museums, there is never a bad time to learn about the history of our military and the wars we fought, both abroad and at home. Some focus on America's military history as a whole, while others put the spotlight on a particular war.

Hours of Operation:
Monday  - Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday,  12 noon to 5 pm

Army Heritage Trail:
Buildings on the Trail are open Monday through Saturday 10am to 4:00pm and Sunday 12:30pm to 4:30pm.Visitors are welcome to walk the trail from dawn to dusk.

All USAHEC exhibits and research facilities are free and open to the public.

National Civil War Museum

Closed: New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
SUMMER HOURS:

Adult Adm: $12
The museum will offer Free Admission for all veterans, active-duty military service members and retirees on November 11, 2016.

Sunday, 12 p.m to 5 p.m.  Closed Monday & Tuesday.
Open on Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Veterans Day. Closed for Thanksgiving. Guided group tours of ten or more available on weekdays in the off-season by appointment

Adult Adm: (12 to 64): $6.00  

Active Duty Military and Dependents: Free with valid ID
