All Day Train Excursions

Take a train excursion through Pennsylvania’s beautiful landscape to Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania. You can board the train at the Reading Outer Station, Port Clinton Station, or Tamaqua Station. Your journey begins as soon as you arrive at one of our stations! During your ride you will see rolling farm land, beautiful mountains, glistening lakes, and small towns along our mainline. You will also travel through tunnels and over bridges, a highlight being the Hometown High Bridge. Once you arrive in Jim Thorpe you have over 3 1/2 hours to explore the many shops, restaurants, and attractions before boarding the train for your return trip. While in Jim Thorpe you can ride one of our 70-minute Lehigh Gorge trains at a discounted rate. Just visit the Jim Thorpe Ticket Booth when you arrive!
