5:15 pm. Welcome in the New Year with the famous Just Born PEEPS® Chick drop and a fabulous fireworks display on the SteelStacks campus! Festivities Tuesday and Wednesday
Beavertown
10:00 – 1:00 Bucky the Beaver will be lowered at Midnight followed by fireworks at the Rescue Hose Company
Carlisle
First Night Carlisle
Miniature Indy race car drop and fireworks at High and West streets at midnight.
Dillsburg
Festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, with a new family-friendly Ms. Pickle drop at 7 p.m. at Citizens’ Hose Fire Company, 109 S. Baltimore St., followed by the traditional Mr. Pickle drop in the square at midnight.
Duncannon
10:30 to 12:30 on Market Square. Food, fun and live music. A sled will be lowered at midnight to honor Duncannon’s Old Sled Works
Elizabethtown
On Market Square, beginning at 7 pm there will be kids’ activities, live music, food, games before the Dove® Promise Drop at Midnight. Fireworks
Gettysburg
Gettysburg’s New Year’s Eve Celebration
Fireworks display in Lincoln Square at midnight. All events are free. Several activities and performances are planned for Lincoln Square.
A unique family fun New Year’s Eve celebration welcoming the New Year on German time in recognition of Harmony’s German heritage. There will be a 5k race, museum tours, a pork and sauerkraut dinner, other food and refreshments, the comedy short Dinner for One, Bleigiessen (melted lead shapes that predict what the New Year may bring), a ball drop and fireworks welcoming 2012 at 6pm.
Harrisburg
Harrisburg’s NYE Celebration
a family oriented event held in front of the Harrisburg Hilton Hotel. Midnight Strawberry drop.
Hershey
At the Square in Hershey. Entertainment includes We The Kings, Ariana Grande and the Impact Band. Be there as the Hershey’s Kiss is raised and fireworks explode at midnight!
Lancaster
Lancaster City New Years Eve Celebration
Ring in the New Year in the city with more than 20 varieties of entertainment at City YMCA and the Barnstormers’ Stadium from 5-9pm. Adm. Enjoy fireworks and the lowering of the Red Rose at midnight at Binns Park for free. Lancaster. 717-291-4758
Lebanon
Twelve-foot bologna made at Kutztown Weaver Bologna Co. will drop at midnight in the parking lot at Ninth and Cumberland streets. Bologna will be donated to Lebanon Rescue Mission and Agape Shelter. Music, food and more. The event is free.
Lewistown
The Great Chip Drop
Come ring in the New Year with a huge bag of our Mifflin County Hartley’s Chips dropped on the square in downtown lewistown. Live music and more!
Kennett Square
Beginning at 9 pm Kennet Square will ring in the new year by dropping an 8 ft. tall, 500 lb., lighted stainless steel mushroom.
Oil City
First Night Oil City
The nonalcoholic family-oriented celebration will offer entertainment and throughout Oil City’s North and South sides. Purchase a button in advance to get into all venues. 5:30 to Midnight
New Bloomfield
New Bloomfield Huckleberry Drop 2015
Lots of fun on the square from 10 to midnight when a box of huckleberries will be dropped from the courthouse clock tower. Don’t miss Father Time and Baby New Year!
Palmyra
Held at Fireman’s Park. It will culminate at midnight with the shoe drop. Entertainment will feature the live entertainment and refreshments. 9 pm to Midnight
Philadelphia
First Night Philly & Fireworks
Events throughout Philadelphia. Fireworks display along the Delaware River Waterfront at 6pm and midnight.
Pittsburgh
First Night Pittsburgh
Community and family-oriented, alcohol-free celebration of the New Year through the arts. NBC’s the Voice’s Swon Brothers perform from 10:45 to 12:10. Grand Finale and Zambelli Fireworks at midnight, New Year’s Eve in downtown Pittsburgh is filled with dance, music, song, mime, magic, story telling, theater and fun – more than 150 events in all!
Pottstown
New Year’s Eve in Pottsville
Pottsville will raise a Yuengling Lager Beer Bottle in Garfield Square at midnight.
Scranton
First Night Scranton
The largest New Year’s Eve celebration of arts and culture in Northeastern Pennsylvania. It is a fun, innovative, family-oriented, alcohol-free, and diverse way to ring in the New Year that is accessible and affordable to all. 3 pm to midnight.
Shippensburg
Drop The Anchor New Year’s Eve Celebration
8 p.m.-midnight. A family-friendly community event. Entertainment, activities for kids and more. Ship anchor drop at King and Earl streets at midnight.
State College
10 a.m.-midnight. Fireworks display at Community Field at South Atherton Street and Hamilton Avenue at midnight. Musical groups, carriage rides and a large display of ice sculptures.
Sunbury
Edison Light Bulb Drop
Disney’s “Frozen” themed childrens activities, including an appearance by Elsa in Cameron Park, a puppet show by Kingdom Kids, carriage rides, and free ice skating. Live entertainment, food and fun leading up to the countdown to midnight for the lighting of the Thomas Edison Light Bulb and fireworks.
York
Children’s celbration from 6-8 at Central Market. York’s New Year’s Eve celebration will feature an opening entertainer and headlining act, as well as food vendors, fireworks and the dropping of the White Rose at midnight in Continental Square.
