Music has long been central to storytelling, enriching emotions and deepening experiences. Tonight’s concert presented by the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra opens with Howard Blake’s “The Snowman,” adapted from Raymond Briggs’ classic tale. At its heart is the hauntingly beautiful Walking in the Air, which accompanies a boy’s magical flight with his snowman.
