Smoke on the Rail BBQ Festival

In its inaugural year, the Smoke on the Rail BBQ Festival illuminated our trail town community with sizzling success. More than 80 competition BBQ teams converged at Marge Goodfellow Park for a culinary extravaganza that thrilled taste buds and united the community.

While professional KCBS teams compete, attendees can enjoy free parking and event entry, food trucks, a selection of beverages including beer and adult slushies, yard games, diverse vendors, and live music on multiple stages. On Friday, there’s a People’s Choice Wing Competition, and on Saturday, a People’s Choice Pork Competition
