Join Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens and the Dina Wind Art Foundation/John Wind Studio for a combined studio tour featuring two of South Philly’s art gems! A knowledgeable educator will lead a 60-minute tour of the first floor of the Magic Gardens Studio, featuring Isaiah Zagar’s iconic mosaics. Learn about Zagar, his influences, and the many collaborations that made the Studio possible. At the Dina Wind Art Foundation/John Wind Studio, guests are invited to tour the century-old firehouse stable, which hosts metal sculptures and abstract paintings by the late artist Dina Wind, as well as jewelry and fine art by her son and artist, John Wind. Explore the Wind Gallery, enjoy refreshments on the rooftop sculpture deck, and explore a curated selection of jewelry, fine art, and catalogues in support of the foundation’s mission. Tickets for the tour must be purchased in advance.
