The Laurel Highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania is an outdoor playground with stunning natural beauty. This annual 2-day festival showcases musicianship, craftsmanship, stewardship, and friendship. The festival is nestled amongst the 4,000 acre Laurel Hill State Park in beautiful Somerset County. This location creates an ideal connection for visitors to enjoy their surroundings in a family friendly environment. Seven bands, artisans, food vendors, period reenactors, children’s activities, and wagon rides await. The festival is free of admission and sponsored by the Friends of Laurel Hill and many other local businesses. This festival started in 2008. The original idea was to create a signature event for the park that was family-friendly and free. The Friends of Laurel Hill and the staff at Laurel Hill State Park take great pride in hosting this event and creating memories for you, your friends and your family. ENJOY! Parking & Shuttles: There is plenty of parking available! There is ADA parking and also golf cart shuttles for those in need of transportation. Vendors: Lots of delicious food choices! Also plenty of local artisans and products! Step Back in Time: Stroll through our period reenactor village. Demonstrations throughout the weekend. Artisan goods for sale as well. Wagon Rides: Sit back and relax while you take a leisurely ride through the park.
