History is always better told by lantern light and with a chill in the air. Join one of our knowledgeable guides as they lead you through the village. Along with Sugartown’s rich history, you’ll learn about the strange world of death and mourning in Victorian America.
*The tour on October 12th will focus on the macabre world of death and mourning in Victorian America. This tour may not be suitable for young children.
The lantern tours will leave from the Carriage Museum approximately every half hour from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday October 12th and from 3:00 to 6:00pm on Sunday October 13th, and will last approximately one hour.
**Historic Sugartown recommends our October 13th tour for anyone with younger children or who require full light to enjoy the historic site.
Tours last approximately 1 hour. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your tour so that it can leave on time. Tours take place rain or shine. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.
Because of the historic nature of the property, there is limited wheelchair accessibility in some of the buildings and some difficult terrain. Please contact us with any questions about accessibility.
Admission: $12/Adults, $10/Children ages 6 – 17
