Lancaster Capital Day

Bring the whole family to Lancaster Capital Day, a free annual festival celebrating Lancaster County’s history and culture on Saturday, September 26, from 10am to 5pm in Downtown Lancaster.

Inspired by Lancaster’s historic distinction as the nation’s capital for one day on September 27, 1777, the festival explores the county’s journey from Pennsylvania’s founding in 1681 through today.

From live music and artisan vendors to local food, historical demonstrations, cultural exhibits, and interactive experiences, Lancaster Capital Day offers something everyone can enjoy.
