A beloved holiday tradition is returning to Schuylkill Haven this season! On Sunday, November 30th, the Holly Trail makes its joyful comeback after a few years’ hiatus—thanks to the efforts of Schuylkill Haven’s 275th Anniversary Committee, who have truly awakened the spirits of Christmas past!

Check-in and the start of the afternoon will take place at the Walk In Art Center (WIAC), (registration is from 12:30pm to 2:00pm) which will also host its enchanting Festival of Trees from 11/15 to 11/29. This festive display invites local nonprofits and businesses to decorate and showcase unique Christmas trees.

Be sure to look for the 275th Anniversary tree, decked out in blue and gold and adorned with historical photo ornaments celebrating our town’s proud heritage. Cast your vote for your favorite tree—and don’t forget, you can even bid to take a decorated tree home!

🏠 Along the Holly Trail

This year’s trail features ten beautiful stops starting at 1:00pm, including:

• Two historic homes, each over 115 years old, showcasing Christmas décor from both the past and the present.
• One home featuring six beautifully decorated trees, and another with an incredible fourteen trees!
• One home will have a train display with a Schuylkill Haven theme.
• All homes will sparkle with festive flair—some even offering sweet holiday treats for visitors.

🍪 A Sweet Ending

The final stop will be at the Church of the Nazarene, where guests can enjoy tea and cookies at 4:00 PM, followed by door prizes at 4:30 PM (generously donated by local businesses and sponsors).

Then, wrap up your festive afternoon by joining the community for Schuylkill Haven’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on the Parkway at 5:00 PM—a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season together.
