Happy Hour with Historians

History nerds unite! Have you ever attended a history presentation and wished you could hang out and chat about all things history? Now’s your chance! Join us at Pottsgrove Manor on Saturday, September 20th for a one-hour presentation on Whiskey Distilling at 3:30pm. Hear from Historic Ephrata Cloister’s curator, Bradley Smith, about the prevalence of small farm distilleries and their importance to our region’s economy.

After the lecture, make it a double, as our speaker and Pottsgrove Manor staff host an off-site history happy hour (with complimentary beer tasting) at Sly Fox Brewing, Pottstown, at 5:00pm. Attendees can enjoy a casual, social setting to chat about history, sample local libations, and listen to live music. Whether you’re a seasoned history buff or simply curious, come raise a glass to the past.

*All ages welcome at the presentation; must be 21 or older to attend the happy hour portion of the evening. Suggested Donation: $2 per person. No registration necessary.
