Fly Fishing Weekend

This retreat is designed for aspiring fly-fishers, as well as veteran fly-fishers who have never taken a formal course. This three-day course reveals all the secrets of fly fishing, from setting up your equipment, tying knots, identifying aquatic insects, determining where fish lay in a stream, and selecting a fly, casting and fishing it in a way that leads to success. Come and learn all the essential knowledge and skills of fly fishing from a pro!
The class will start with in-classroom and on-the-lawn sessions to provide you with enough information to purchase the right equipment and the basic skills necessary to get you on the stream. Sunday, you focus on fly fishing strategies, including actual fishing time on a local stream. Sunday is a practicum that will let you apply your new knowledge and skills in real fishing situations.
