Felix Cavaliere's Rascals & Micky Dolenz Of The Monkees

Early in 1965, Felix Cavaliere formed the Young Rascals. That October, they caught the attention of a promoter with their high-energy act. Signed to Atlantic Records, and now called The Rascals, the mega hit “Good Lovin’” struck No. 1 in February 1966. They followed suit with a string of hits like “I’ve Been Lonely Too Long,” “Groovin’” (No. 1 in 1967), “How Can I Be Sure,” “A Girl Like You,” “A Beautiful Morning,” and “People Got to Be Free” (No. 1 in 1968). The Rascals are considered the best “blue-eyed soul” group to come out of the 1960s, as well as one of the groups with the most record sales. Sharing the stage that evening will be Micky Dolenz, lead singer and drummer of the 1960s band, The Monkees. Actor, singer, director, producer, writer, radio DJ, inventor, and all-around performer extraordinaire, Micky Dolenz continues to perform the hits he sang with one of America’s all-time favorite bands. Fans of this former teen idol will certainly remember “I’m A Believer,” “Valleri,” “A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You,” “Last Train to Clarksville,” “(I’m Not Your) Steppin’ Stone,” “Daydream Believer,” and “Pleasant Valley Sunday.”
