Cranberry Artists Network: Simply Spring!

The light and joy of Spring is the theme for Cranberry Artist Network’s Spring Members Show. Artists will present their visual interpretation of Spring. Artwork displayed will be highly visible to township residents, employees and pedestrians visiting the location each day. The art exhibition will be accessible to the public seven days a week. Juror, Suzie Sparks, will choose the work in the show and select pieces to receive awards. Susan Sparks is a professional artist and entrepreneur. She returned to southwestern PA after several years on the west coast, Orange County, CA. and Seattle, WA, where she worked primarily as senior corporate creative, plus did some arts related non-profit work. Since retuning to PA, she has been immersed in non-profit arts management, her most recent position being the Program Manger for the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall in Carnegie PA. As an artist, she states, “ I do art because it is what I do. I am an artist and have always been one. I knew as a child that I would do art, all of my life. I do not feel that because I am an artist that I am different or special. I do feel that I have been gifted with a talent and a different perspective on life, and I enjoy sharing that with others.” The public is welcome to attend the opening reception on March 8 from 6 – 8:00 p.m.  Refreshments will be served and awards will be announced.
