Clarion County Fair

What began in 1938 as the Farmers and Merchants Picnic, the event originally drew 5,000 attendees for a day of fun with balloon-blowing contests, potato races, greased pig contests, and tug-of-war. Over the years, the fair’s popularity led to its expansion and it has grown into a week-long annual celebration of community spirit and heritage, now featuring animal shows and agricultural exhibits, grandstand events, arts and crafts displays, carnival rides, and live entertainment.
