Care Fest

Join The Clay Studio for Care Fest on Saturday, November 15, from noon to 4 p.m. – a free community event celebrating wellness and creativity. Presented by The Clay Studio in conjunction with the ‘Clay as Care’ exhibition, this afternoon of self-care offers meditation, yoga, sound bath experiences, wheel throwing demonstrations, hand building with clay, chair massages, and more activities designed to nourish your mind, body, and creative spirit.

Care Fest grew out of conversations with ‘Clay as Care’ artists, Ehren Tool and Jennifer Ling Datchuk, about self-care practices and how to integrate them into community projects. With guidance from The Clay Studio’s Exhibitions Council, The Clay Studio has crafted an event that honors the healing power of creativity and the strength we find in caring for ourselves and one another.

Activity partners include: Spirits Up!, The Chair Massage Studio, The Random Tea Room, Elizabeth Zack, Monarch Yoga, and Silent Disco Party Rentals.
