The Brodak Fly-In draws model aviation pilots who compete over six days in Carmichaels in the sport of control-line flying. Events range from precision aerobatics and combat to Ladies & Youth Only basic flights. Events are divided into beginner, intermediate, advanced and expert classes. Junkyard Wars also takes place as a competition in which a team must build and fly a plane made from scrap.
