Beaver Valley Artists Spring 2023 Art Show

Show opening on Sun. from 1-4 p.m. Awards will be presented at 2:30 pm.  The show will be on exhibit until May 11 at 7:00 P.M. during gallery hours.  At that time, Juror, Jaison Schafer will give a critique of members work, and explain his choices for awards. Jaison Schafer has a BFA in Studio Arts from the University of Pittsburgh.  He is a dedicated working artist creating live event paintings, portraits, murals and original art.  He is also a Fine Art Painting Teacher. “ The art of making Art brings a special kind of energy along with it… I believe we all are artists.” Jaison is co-owner of “ Live Painting Pittsburgh”: as well as “ Blue Brush Murals and Designs.” He also co-owns “ The Art Spirit Fine Art Studio and Gallery” in Saxonburg, PA. The Beaver Valley Artists meet the second Thursday of each month at the Merrick Art Gallery to learn more about art through live artist demonstrations, to practice working from live models, and for artist critiques.  They host a juried show of their work once a year at the Merrick.
