A National Historic Landmark, Olympia completed a treacherous 15-day voyage to bring the remains unknown American soldier from World War I from France to the Washington Navy Yard. The Independent Seaport Museum will commemorate the Centennial Anniversary of the Olympia’s journey throughout the year with special programming, premiering digital content, and panel discussions.
