Be My Neighbor Day is a free, family-friendly event and we’re planning a lot of fun things to do! You can meet Daniel Tiger, listen to stories read by Bethlehem Mayor William Reynolds, learn how police officers care for their horses, dance with Lolly Hopwood, make bookmarks and kindness buckets – and more! This year, PBS39 is partnering with the Lehigh Valley Book Festival to celebrate literacy and the wonderful opportunities in our community to read, grow, and learn together. Learn more about the Book Festival here. Also, please bring an item for our collection drive in partnership with The Kindness Project. It’s a “grr-ific” way to model being a caring neighbor, while filling an important need in our community.
