Historic Rock Ford is thrilled to announce our upcoming one-day event, “Haunted Encounters: Personal Paranormal Experiences at Historic Rock Ford,” to celebrate the Halloween season. On this guided tour, two of our long-time volunteers will share their personal paranormal experiences gathered over their many years connected with our historic site. These experiences were gathered during their time spent supervising paranormal investigations in the Hand Mansion, as well as those surprising moments when something goes bump in the night — or day — when alone in the Hand Mansion. We invite you to join us on this unique daytime journey through the Hand Mansion as we explore the personal side of Rock Ford’s 200 years of haunted history. Please note that tours are limited to 15 guests, so book your spot now to avoid missing out on this unforgettable event. This specialty tour is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. Tour will be approximately 60-75 minutes in length, and guests will be standing and walking up and down flights of steps during your tour. Tours offered at 10 AM, 12 PM and 2 PM. Limited to 15 guests. Admission to the John J. Snyder, Jr. Gallery of Early Lancaster County Decorative Arts is included with your admission to the “Haunted Encounters” guided tour.
