An IRONMAN competition in Centre and Clinton counties. Participants swim a 1.2-mile course on Foster Joseph Sayers Lake at Bald Eagle State Park, bike a 56-mile course through Clinton (Rt. 150 to Rt. 64 and then out Jacksonville Rd.) and back into Centre County, then run a 13.1-mile course on the Penn State Campus, finishing the event on the 50 yard line of Beaver Stadium. Close to 3,000 participants are anticipated.
