South Schuylkill Garden Club Annual Tea

Tues. at 5:30 p.m. The Theme for this year’s tea is “Step into Spring.  The evening’s activities will commence at approximately 5:30 PM with a meet and greet.  The public is invited to join club members for an evening of relaxed fellowship and light refreshments to be served at 6 PM.  Then at 7 PM Master Gardner Victor Perez Dahlia expert extraordinaire will present a program on dahlias.  The program is “Dilly Dally with Dahlias,”  where Victor will present a PowerPoint program all about dahlias including the history and classification of dahlias, spring planting, fall lifting, and winter storage. Victor will address all you ever wanted to know about dahlias in a question-and-answer format at the end of his presentation, and gift bags of dahlias will be provided to participants. This event will fill up early to get your reservations.  Cost for this evening is only $18.00.
