Make a Halloween Themed Mug at The Rivet at Discovery Space

Monster Mugs Class: This class will be taught over two sessions on Saturday, October 24 and Saturday, October 31 from 12pm-1:30pm.

Throw a mug that can be adapted into a spooky creation! Students will throw a vessel on the pottery wheel and adapt it through hand-building techniques to resemble a spooky creature of their choice. Come prepared to get messy. Face masks are required, and this class is socially distanced.

Please Note: You will need to be able to create a vessel using the wheel and so throwing experience is a prerequisite for this class.

BONUS: Any piece created in this class will be fired in the kiln free of charge.
BONUS: Students taking this class will be credited with a day pass so that they may return during workshop hours to glaze their piece or work on their own projects.
