Due to Covid-19 restrictions, all sessions of our Spring basic training will be offered online. When conditions improve, participants will be invited to an optional get-together with hands-on demonstrations and networking opportunities on a future date TBD.

Become a neighborhood greening hero! Learn about tree care and planting by participating in a PHS Tree Tenders training this spring. This eight-hour course held over four sessions offers topics including tree biology, identification, planting, and proper care. You will be joining one of the nation’s oldest, most respected volunteer urban tree-care programs.
Tree Tenders are given the tools to plant and nurture trees in their own neighborhoods. Regionally, there are over 5,000 Tree Tenders from over 100 neighborhoods! Join a group or form your own Tree Tenders group, by attending the training with two neighbors.

A brief Zoom check-in will be held on April 22ndat 6:30 p.m.to confirm the webinar technology is working for everyone and ensure that the 4/29 session can start without delays.
