Surface: First 2 miles Limestone, second 2 miles dirt/railroad ballast. Restrictions: No horses Special Note: Remains of the former Pennsylvania Mainline Canal can be found along the trail. The 1.5 long Rock Furnace Trail connects to the Roaring Run Trail. Trailheads: Apollo. Take Kiski Avenue southeast .5 miles from Apollo Bridge (Leonard Memorial Bridge) to Canal Road. Parking lot is located at end of Canal Road.
