Sentimental Journey Fly-In

The Fly-In is a great event for pilots, planes, and people who love aviation. The first Fly-in was in 1986 and was organized by a group of volunteers wishing to link the Lock Haven airport to the memories of Piper Aircraft, which built their airplanes at Lock Haven for nearly fifty years. The Fly-in now is into our 40th year and we have expanded beyond the original scheme of celebrating Pipers. Today, we welcome all makes and models to Lock Haven. Parked on our field during the fly-in you’ll find Aeroncas, Bellancas, Cessnas, Cubcrafters, Luscombes, Pitts, Stearmans, Stinsons, Swifts, Taylorcraft, Wacos, and Vans, and just about anything else with wings. All pilots will find a welcoming home on our long grass runway or the long paved runway; your choice. Everybody and every plane is welcome!

Plus there are all sorts of activities during the week. There are educational forums, food every night, live music every week night, and free beer every evening after 5pm. There’s a special Kids Zone with fun activities and bounce houses.
