Our Railroads Presentation

The railroads were extremely important to Sullivan County’s growth, transporting people, ice, lumber, and buffalo hides. Come see our Eagles Mere narrow gauge railroad exhibit and learn about its history. Next, drive to Sonestown to tour the station built by A.C. Little. From there, drive to Lake Mokoma, which was one of the station stops, and end your day at the Dushore train station and icehouse.
