Anselma 250 Lectures: Chester County History
Explore the complex relationships between people and the land where they live and work. Learn about people who lived here when Europeans arrived and those from many backgrounds and walks of life who came to live in Chester County. The narrative includes the area’s rich agricultural heritage, social and reform movements, and the wheels of industry.
Speaker:
Ellen Endslow is the Director of Collections/Curator at the Chester County History Center. She is responsible for the care of the museum collection and making it accessible to the public through exhibitions, programs, group tours, student visits and by answering research inquiries. She also oversees the library and photo archives. Ellen enjoys constantly learning about Chester County history through the permanent collections, oral histories, and informal conversations.
