15th Polar Bear 5K Trail Run/Hike

Runners and Hikers are invited to participate in this 3.1 mile (5K) race that begins at 10 a.m. and winds through scenic Lancaster County Central Park on well-maintained trails with some hills. Dogs can participate by running or walking with their owners (but they must be on a leash).  All money raised by this event supports regional efforts to end global warming. Funds raised in the 2026 race will help finance the Lancaster Group’s popular “green project” grant program, which (over the past 10 years) has awarded grants of up to $500 to 110 Lancaster County organizations that revealed a need for support of their environmental preservation efforts. The money also helps support the group’s free outdoor activities and educational programs that are designed to help people better appreciate, protect and preserve the environment.
