Fun In the Snow at Black Mo

Enjoy a fun-filled day of activities at Black Moshannon State Park. Try ice mini golf, ice bowling, and curling! Then try out ice skating, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing with the free loaner equipment.

Take a walk to look for winter signs of wildlife; then make fake snow. Most events will take place near the Environmental Learning Center or the Warming Hut by the Boat Rental. Join the Friends of Black Moshannon at the Environmental Learning Center, where they will be selling Black Moshannon T-shirts, sweatshirts, medallions, and nature guides. Some food and hot drinks will also be available.

You can warm up at the Environmental Learning Center and at the fires located at the Warming Hut and near the Environmental Learning Center.

In the case of a snowstorm, please check the Black Moshannon State Park Facebook or call the Black Moshannon State Park office.

If there is no snow and no ice, the event will be rescheduled in February. Check the Black Moshannon State Park Facebook page or the DCNR calendar of events for updates!!!
