Friday, December 2nd kicks off the two-day celebration of Tunkhannock’s old-fashioned Christmas in Our Hometown. Beginning at 5:00, the holiday fun includes a Santa parade, horse-drawn wagon rides, musicians, ice sculpture displays, area community groups offering homemade treats, hot chocolate, and a whole lot more. Likened to a Hallmark Christmas, Tunkhannock celebrates hometown charm and friendship. The family fun and holiday traditions continue on Saturday, December 3rd. The Dietrich Theater highlights many of the weekend’s events including the exquisite decoration of the historic theater lobby. Other daytime activities include the new Vendor Village, featuring area artisans along with photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
