Music At The Spring Concert

Sunday – doors open at 3:30 p.m.; starting at 4:00 p.m.; sponsored by Music at the Spring. The Mansfield University Concert Choir is the premier touring ensemble of the university. Under the direction of Peggy Dettwiler, the group has achieved an impressive reputation of excellence, having been chosen to perform at conventions and festivals around the world. The choir has won top prizes in international competitions, including eight Gold Medals at the World Choir Games. Most recently, the Concert Choir was awarded The American Prize for small college/university programs. The Concert Choir has performed in nineteen countries and produced twenty-three CD recordings. The singers are frequently praised for the emotional spectrum in their performances, their diverse vocal color, and their varied repertoire.
