Millbrook Playhouse Presents: Looking Over the President’s Shoulder

7:30pm nightly performances; 2pm matinees Wednesday and Sundays; and a special, Juneteenth performance at 7:30m on Monday, June 19. Based on the real-life story of Alonzo Fields, the grandson of a freed slave who grew up in an all-black town in southern Indiana. Fields is forced by the Depression to give up his dreams of becoming an opera singer and accept a job at the White House where he quickly was appointed Chief Butler.
