Mifflin Soaring Association’s Region 2 Soaring Contest

Aircraft enthusiasts and glider gurus from across the United States and Canada flock to participate in the annual Soaring Contest at Mifflin County Airport. The public is welcome to watch as the gliders are towed to the sky by a tow plane and then set free to see who can stay in flight as long as possible using thermal pockets along the ridge lines.
