Laser Cutter Clearance Class at The Rivet at Discovery Space

Learn to safely operate the Trotec Speedy 400 laser cutter. This class will cover the basics of laser cutting and each student will cut and take home a wooden coaster featuring The Rivet logo. Designing artwork for the laser will not be covered. While knowing design is not required, we do recommend that anyone interested in continual use of this machine get familiar with Adobe Illustrator.  Taking this class will grant a “Clearance”, allowing you to use the laser during workshop hours.
