Jimmy Fortune, The Malpass Brothers and Wilson Fairchild

Event Dates

May 22 2022

Location

American Music Theatre

2425 Lincoln Highway E.

Lancaster, PA 17602

Jimmy Fortune toured, sang, and performed with the legendary Statler Brothers for 21 years. Fortune quickly lived up to his name – he wrote the group’s second No. 1 hit, “Elizabeth” and followed that with two more No. 1 hits, namely “My Only Love” and “Too Much On My Heart.” Fortune also wrote the top-10 hit “Forever” and co-wrote the top-10 hit “More Than a Name on the Wall.”
Wilson Fairchild is a country music duo made up of Wil and Langdon Reid from the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. They get their “entertainment chops” honestly. Wil’s dad is Harold Reid and Langdon’s dad is Don Reid of the legendary Statler Brothers. Along with recording their own music, such artists as the Statler Brothers, Ricky Skaggs, and Dailey & Vincent have recorded their songs, as well.
As young boys, The Malpass Brothers – Christopher and Taylor – soaked up the music of their granddad’s phonograph records. Christopher earned his first talent show trophy at age 7, and Taylor was playing mandolin by the time he was 10. Today, they promote the work and music of classic country artists they treasure while creating new music and making their own mark in the lineage of a rich American cultural heritage.
