Breakfast with the Arts Speaker Series

Enjoy a delicious breakfast and drink some coffee while relaxing and listening to an informative speaker during our Breakfast With the Arts Series.

2024 Speaker Schedule

April 13: Filmmaker Emily Jayne Adams will show and discuss her short film “Something Wild,” as well as discussing some of her other projects and her creative process.

May 11: Hear guitar luthier Bryon Rood give a talk about the process of designing and making guitars and ukuleles.

June 8: Ellen Silberlicht will discuss her artistic process. She chooses tactile materials to express herself, clay and fiber being her main mediums.

July 13: Hear sculptor Chris Collins discuss his artistic process as he tries to answer the question: How will the objects of our daily lives define us through the lens of history?

August 10: Hear artist Ran Adler discuss his meditative approach to life and art.

September 14: Hear bench jeweler and abstract painter Michael Husted talk about his artistic journey and creative process.

October 12: Chris Knickerbocker, one-of-a-kind artist, will give an artist lecture on how she finds new life for “castoff” objects – restoring them into reincarnated art.

November 9: Austrian artist Edwin Redl talks about his experience and process as a pioneer in the world of light art.
