Wed. at 6:30 p.m.: Lecture by East Stroudsburg University Professor Dr. Adam McGlynn. FREE and Open to the Public; Book Sale and Signing. While research has shown Latinos are highly patriotic, political rhetoric often questions their patriotism and residence in the United States. In his lecture, Dr. McGlynn will examine how Latino/a aspirations to demonstrate patriotism and belonging influences their experiences with military recruitment and service. For future military leaders, a deeper understanding of minority communities can enhance commanders’ ability to lead more effectively. Join us on Wednesday, November 15th, at 6:30pm EST as the USAHEC concludes the Fall season of our 2023 “Perspectives” Lecture Series with Dr. McGlynn’s presentation, which will be followed by a question-and-answer session.
