The Carlisle Brass Band is a British-style brass band that was created to give brass and percussion players the opportunity to perform classic and modern brass band music, as well as to celebrate the American brass band origins of the more than 175-year old Carlisle Town Band. The band is directed by Mr. Bernie Pitkin, and members come from Carlisle and the surrounding area. The band’s repertoire features both classic and contemporary brass band music, including Broadway and movie show tunes. There’s something for everyone!
