The historic Vicary Mansion, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, was constructed in 1826 by Philadelphia Sea Captain William Vicary. The mansion is home to the Beaver County Historical Research and Landmarks Foundation, recognized as the official historical society of Beaver County. Visitors may experience tours of the mansion by docents in historical clothing, educational programs, and re-enactments. Our five annual events include a county-wide History Weekend, Vicary Craft Day, Applebutter Fest, an Evening of Tales and Hauntings and Christmas at the Mansion. The building is open to the public Monday-Friday, 10 A.M.-2 P.M., or by appointment. Closed on major holidays. Free Admission/donations accepted.
