Join “After the Flowers Pass” artist Amir Khadar for an intimate look at their exhibition and learn about their methods and inspirations. Guests will also have a chance to ask questions during a Q&A session following the tour. Amir Khadar is a multidisciplinary artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota, who bridges the gap between fantasy and reality in otherworldly creations. In “After the Flowers Pass,” Khadar uses textiles and mixed-media to construct a post-apocalyptic world that reimages hierarchies in today’s society. Khadar liberates their figures and creates a visual language that centers on race, gender, and climate justice.
