Center For Art In Wood Presents: What Is Contemporary Jewelry (And Why Should We Care)?
Join a free, virtual discussion hosted by the Center for Art in Wood to learn about the context and history of the works featured in its latest exhibition, “Wood & Body: Expressions in Contemporary Jewelry.” The program includes a panel of experts, critics, leading advocates, and a contemporary jewelry artist discussing the exhibition and a series of questions about the art form itself. The panel features curatorial consultant/educator Helen W. Drutt English, independent curator and writer Elisabeth Essner, and New York City Jewelry Week co-founder Bella Neyman, with artist Caroline Gore.
